Good airport and facilities but do not show up in a single piston. Nobody parked me, so I parked beside a CJ that was there. After going inside and needing to call for someone, I was informed I must start up and move to the tie-downs (tie-downs are a fine 300' away from the FBO. Even when I returned to the airport the ramp was vacant except for 3 piston planes (mine was one of them) at the tie-downs. Happy I freed up ramp space for them

Just beware when you come to this location. Not welcoming toward GA. I flew my spouse in for her soccer game. It was a Sunday at 3pm. I was verbally harassed by the airport manager who refused to allow me to exit through the gate. He told me this is a private airport and because I did not call ahead of time I shouldnt be present.I explained to him that as a private pilot I have the privilege to access this airport and it is publicly funded. He didnt care and still stuck to it being a private airport you need permission

Lancaster is a gem. New FBO in Sept 2025. Best kept secret in the region.
