I can't recommend Sunair Aviation. I landed there about a week ago for a 2 night stay. I took fuel from their self-serve fuel island, then taxied over to the FBO. They still would not waive the $35 handling fee or one of the $25 overnight fees because I didn't get gas from their fuel truck, even though I bought fuel at THEIR self-serve fuel island.

Was there 2 days ago for an overnight stay. Skilled lineman had the arrival and parking handled quick and easy. Hertz car rental being right at the front desk was super convenient. Overall, good experience. Will come back.

Good experience during a recent overnight. Personnel working at Sunair were very friendly and helpful. Waived the ramp fee with my fuel purchase. Would certainly use this FBO again when I'm passing thru. SR-22

Update from a few days ago: Plane was fueled and prepared to go when I got back to the airport. The lady at the desk was once more very helpful. Note that the listed price for fuel might not feature roughly 3 extras. This is an active airport with significant training action. Tower controller was useful nonetheless.

FBO wants you not to utilize self service fuel so charge more for it. Fuel is costly but - less - but still elevated for full service. I truly appreciate this airport but let down by the charges and fuel prices - wish city would step up and take over!

I can't really recommend flying into this FBO. In my 10 years of doing volunteer dog rescue and human patient transports, this is the first time an FBO has refused to waive landing fees and/or the minimum fuel purchase. So much for the spirit of giving back. Sigh. I guess that's a sign of the times. Take your business elsewhere.

Flew to Leesburg for Thanksgiving with family. Leesburg was the most convenient field. The Sunair team was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful the entire visit.

Arrived mid afternoon after a long flight from Pennsylvania, for Christmas with family. Ryan drove out on a tug and took us to a somewhat remote parking area because of high volume of transient traffic. Ryan also escorted my sister in her car to the plane for unloading cargo. Inside, the clerk took my details and instructions for fueling. We were very happy with the experience.

Flew in in a C172 for a single night, $20 per night charge and $20 facility charge, waived if you top off with fuel. Quite wild. Otherwise, fine airport and the tower controllers are world class!

Cleared customs in a Falcon 50 on 24-NOV and 30-NOV. Sunair Aviation was outstanding! Line service and the CSRs were exceptional! Fuel and LAV service were quick. Beautiful and clean FBO! Definitely recommend Sunair Aviation!! 5-Stars !! See you next time!!
