Be ready for it. Jacksonville approach is wonderful and brings you nearly all the way to the initial approach fix, then switches you over to Orlando just before the IAF. Ask Jacksonville if you can continue to the IAF so you can get lined up with the landing runway. After Orlando takes you, everything moves very quickly-you can get behind, and they are extremely busy. Orlando clears you for the approach, then immediately tells you to contact tower. If you know it's coming, it will be mush smoother. The first time this happened to me, I was in IMC.

Had a pretty bad experience with tower recently. I asked Ground for handoff instructions after takeoff when I first contacted them, and I misunderstood what I was being told. When I asked for clarification, the controller was ridiculously condescending - he talked very slowly in this patronizing tone like he was speaking to a kindergartner. Totally unprofessional and completely uncalled for.

CUSTOMS 352-787-4217 (TH-Mon) here is wonderful! The Senior Agent retired but we are fortunate enough to have had him share his success gained with being courteous and understanding. I've found most owner/pilots don't know that by filing the EAPIS departing anywhere in the Bahamas, going directly to KLEE (IFR ONLY, 10K or higher), will be approved 99% of the time. File EAPIS, Call KLEE Customs for landing permission, Depart NO Sooner than 60 minutes from when you received your EAPIS acknowledgement.
