May 29, 2026Nice new facility. No loaner car, so plan on using Uber. The taxi took a full hr to show up.

February 5, 2026Heads up: at/just after sunset, the CTAF Pilot Controlled Lighting wasn’t behaving like it should. I tried several times and still couldn’t get the runway lights to come on; apparently this is a known issue, maybe tied to the time change.

November 11, 2025Nov 2025 - SServe 100LL pump and card reader functioning well. Sunday noon, Alert Area A-293, just north of KDED extremely active with students. I was utilizing Flight Following with Daytona Approach, they were nearly constant transmitting vectors and altitudes to students. IMHO elevated hazard without your own ADSB-IN and OUT to share position and watch for traffic. DeLand traffic pattern also active with students, and skydive plane(s) might use intersecting runway.
