Stopped for lunch and fuel on a blustery day. Good front desk staff. Ended up needing a bit of upkeep and front desk worked some magic getting a rental car after hours on a holiday weekend. Rick at the maintenance shop was first rate. Friendly and fair dealing. Two thumbs up.

Stopped in for a quick overnight while flying from ND to NJ. Was greeted with a smile and extremely cordial personnel. Dirt cheap hangar rates ($60/night for single piston) and no other charges. Good small airport and wouldn’t hesitate returning the next time I swing thru.

I stopped in for fuel on my way home from Florida and then the engine wouldn’t start which turned out to be a mag issue. Everyone at Vee Neal was good, they tried to get me a rental car even though all the agencies were closed, they got me a hotel and gave me a ride over. They really bent over backwards to assist me out.

Can’t say enough about Laurel Highlands Jet center. Hungared my plane for three days. Terry at the front desk is amazing. Justin the line guy is top notch. The right main was sort of flat on the bottom, lol, and maintenance put air in it gratis. The FBO was super clean and the lemonade at the refreshment center was superb. Whoever put hersheys kisses next to it was brilliant. The other half found those and presto happy wife happy life. Definitely go there again.

Stopped for the evening due to low weather past Johnstown. Personnel was fantastic, they set me up with the hotel shuttle all at 9:30 before they closed. Got the hotel shuttle back the next morning and waited in the pilots lounge for the weather to continue up enough east for me to push on. Facility was superb and they were doing an open house and Inter flight program for their new flight school! And even with that they were super prompt and helpful!! Definitely will stop again!

I stopped in on a Sunday around noon for a Pilots-N-Paws doggie transfer. The two line men were good. Lydia in the office was super friendly and a pleasure to conduct business with. Fuel prices were fine. The FBO is clean and new. It was a fine place to hang out while I awaited the other pilot. I purchased 18 gallons of 100LL and paid no landing fee. I will not hesitate to return. It is also immediately next to a good restaurant.

Came in for dinner and plane broke when we went to depart. Wyatt at the front desk is amazing and helped us out. Very friendly line guys and good facility. 10/10 will be back with a better plane someday.

Stopped in on the return journey from KPOU (grandma’s) to KHAO for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately we got beat up pretty bad with turbulence and my wife got air sick (unhappy wife unhappy flight). Everyone at the FBO was super accommodating and friendly including to our dog. We relaxed in the lounge and used the restrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable. At their suggestion we walked over to the terminal and I had a good Italian meal and my wife ate plain noodles Apparently there are self serve pumps at the opposite end of the ramp but it was cold and we appreciated full serve service. One caution we landed at sunset coming over the ridge line VFR into the setting sun for 24 landing was brutal. “I swear I just cleaned the inside of the windshield”. We enjoy stopping at KLBE on our way to NY. Will definitely return. 182TG

July 31, 2022 - operating an R-44 helicopter, I enjoy the mountains on a fine day, but VFR return from Airventure had me divert north of my path to this wonderful overnight location. Could not get across the peaks to the east. After landing on the ramp, things became simple. They fueled me immediately for the chance to reach home when conditions improved. They assisted me with a good discount on a nearby lodging and transported me to that lodging. Contacted them in the morning and within moments they arrived at the lodging to bring me back to the airfield. I could not request superior assistance. I will visit here again and I suggest you visit here.
