Phoned ahead in my C152 and was told there’d be no ramp fee and crew cars were free, first come, first serve. When I showed up, nobody helped on the ramp, and inside I was told it was really either 10 gallons or a $12 ramp fee. I explained I had just fueled and couldn’t take another 10 gallons, but I was still told I’d have to do both—so I ended up paying the $12 anyway. Not at all what was communicated.

Memorial Day weekend, Saturday 9am: door locked, another pilot waiting to be pulled out of a hangar mentioned "good luck finding someone" but at least they permitted entry. Coffee prepared, facilities spotless -- but nobody on duty. Instructor passing thru stated this is typical -- the FBO "is dead." No self service available either. Waited sixty minutes then flew 7min south to KTEW for self service. Quite frustrating.

Flew to KLAN to do some quick shopping. Fantastic FBO services; clean, fine amenities, and simple to taxi to. Extremely kind staff, very helpful, and 100% professional. Two courtesy cars available (first come first serve). Will definitely be returning!

As of 6/1/2021 - AvFlight at KLAN no longer possesses self-serve fuel

Fine FBO. Did customs by the ramp and a short taxi over to Avflight. ATC was awesome also. FBO was nicely equipped and friendly people. Gas is not inexpensive but they provided good service. Customs was seamless and nice to deal with. Would stop again.

Good friendly service. Did not get fuel so they have a $12 handling charge for SE piston which is completely worthwhile for the standard of service. Courtesy car available. Shall certainly return.

Emily did such a good job getting me a last minute rental car in a pinch. My appointment was cancelled when I was in the air so I didn't even end up using the rental, but she was gracious and took care of unwinding the rental car. Highly recommended!

This is a good FBO. Crew car available too. Ten minute drive to the university.
