Town of Springerville (KJTC)

Stopped in for fuel and facilities. Nobody was around, though it was Sunday afternoon. Tried using CTAF to get into the bldg, but that didn’t work. Couldn’t find any signage explaining how to access the bldg. Fortunately, there’s an exterior restroom we could use. SS Fueling itself was easy enough-the hose access is inside the 100LL box on the right, with the on/off switch in the left side. The hose nozzle leaks and really needs to be repaired or replaced. Squeezing it all the way makes it spray.

Good fuel stop, cool temp in early autumn, fine long runway. We took the crew car to Trail Riders Restaurant good food.

Airport has Jet A self serve

Springerville airport operations are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The facility is open, appealing and tidy. Jet A self serve is confirmed to be mixed with Prist but there is no signage or recording of such on the receipt printouts. My spouse was extremely impressed with the appointments and tidiness of the restroom.

FBO closed Sundays.

Stoped here because fuel was 5.25. Open BOTH sides or you’ll never find the "on" button. My only complaint is that the receipt won’t print.

Tom C182 4/24/22. Quite area w/ Fine clean new FBO & fine fuel cost . Attendant appears to be elsewhere mostly because not much trade. Tie down chains & fuel ground wire not very well kept - needed to jury rig both . Local wind usually tricky because of mountains close by , also high altitude/ air density . Fascinating area & good spot to stop by in fine weather
