Lansing Municipal Airport (KIGQ)

No fees, but there’s no service either. The FBO is shut down. Self-serve 100 LL jet fuel is at the far west end of the ramp, next to the historic Ford Trimotor hangar in the extreme NW corner of the airport property. Lots of parking spaces, with tie-down hooks set into the pavement. I didn’t notice any ropes, so bring your own. Fuel pricing is good for the Chicago area. Enterprise is on-field, about 100 yards from the pass-through gate (people only). The Springhill Suites 2 miles east was very nice and looked fairly new.

Affordable fuel, which is most important. FBO is fine but no crew car unfortunately.

Runways are in good shape. Inexpensive fuel. Did not try the FBO so cannot say if it is open or not.
