November 11, 2024Been to this FBO 4 times in the past year and each time nobody was present and nobody would answer the phone. If you're looking for dependable service perhaps phone a few days ahead before arriving to confirm somebody will be here.

April 11, 2022Cannot thank Jason at AirZona enough. Had to divert on our way home from Seligman to make a “pre-cautionary” landing at Kingman in my wife’s Arrow, this past Friday, due to fuel pressure and increased unexpected fuel usage. Jason was on the engine problem, immediately, removed the cowling, checked for leakage, loose wiring, had us run her up to see if the rpm’s or magnetos were off. No issues found, re-cowled her and did not charge! Had us do a circuit flight over the airport so he could listen to the engine. All checked out and we made it back to North Las Vegas. Cannot thank Jason, and AirZona enough for their very competent assistance.

July 12, 2021We stopped at Kingman on our journey to Sedona just to get fuel. Shortly after we pulled up to the self serve island one of the guys from Air’Zona rushed over with his golf cart to caution us of the fast approaching “haboob” which is Arabic for the word blown. Haboobs are huge walls of dust created from high winds rushing out of a collapsing thunderstorm (microburst). He said the dust storm would be there in a couple minutes and that we needed to push our plane over to parking and chain it down ASAP and he assisted us in doing this. He said the last Habood damaged about 20 aircraft. He let us use his golf cart and we rushed to their FBO as the dust storm arrived and engulfed the whole airport and then it poured cats & dogs for about an hour. Needless to say, we never made it to Sedona that afternoon due to weather, but everyone at Air’Zona FBO were amazing! Anna, Merlin and the others were so kind and helpful and they provided us with food, a comfortable place to wait out the weather and then loaned us their red truck to drive into town for the night. If you ever fly into Kingman be sure to stop by and patronize these wonderful people! They deserve your business!

April 7, 2021Very fine FBO! The new owners, Pat and Anna, are committed to provide superb customer service. They were glad to lend us the “Red Racer” crew car overnight. We needed to have an early start the next morning, for a six hour fly day. After fueling up, loading up, and a good preflight, I flipped the alternator toggle switch, only to have the lever break off in my hand. I called Pat, to see if he knew anyone who could replace it on a Saturday morning. Pat, who is an A&P, jumped into action and had us up and running again, in under one hour. AirZona FBO is the best!

August 4, 2023Kip G. Flew into Kingman (IGM) today and on landing I lost my right brakes. CJ with Air’Zona Aircraft service came out on a Sunday and a holiday weekend to get me back in the air. Good to have these type of people and FBO that will take care of the aviation community.

September 15, 2021We stopped in for a gas and go. Fine airport with a well lit self service island towards the old tower off Alpha taxiway. It’s worth noting that there are (2), 100LL pumps to select from. We tried both and neither one pumped fuel. Called Pat on a cell number listed and he dispatched Butch to come out at 8 pm to assist. After all attempts to get either pump to function failed, Butch went to get the fuel truck. Six receipts later we were on our way. Of course I’ll keep an eye on the failed 5 pending gas receipts that read zero total. Hopefully they will figure out the issue for future stopovers. Might consider calling ahead.

June 29, 2021Overnighted in Kingman on a cross country, guessing that a small town airport would offer a superior experience than Henderson, North Las Vegas or elsewhere. Will confirm the wonderful service from Joe Connell at AirZona. The Red Racer had an issue so he loaned us his personal new RED pickup to go to town for the evening. Helpful with our fueling and parking. Was an interesting surprise to discover all the stored planes there and the history of the airfield.

April 20, 2021Spent 5 hours hanging around this FBO while client conducted business. Anna could not have been more accommodating. Snacks, drinks and the use of the “red racer” ( 2003 Chevy truck) was fine. Learned about the history of the airport and the town. Jet fuel price was the lowest I’ve seen anywhere. Plan you fuel stop here!
