We compared pros, cons, and costs for all four FBOs and are pleased we selected Cape Cod Gateway Airport FBO (referred to as “Ops” on the radios and by the other FBOs). They were the lowest priced of the 4 FBOs by-comparison but the trade-off is, you cannot park near the FBO. There is no aircraft parking right next to the Cape Cod Gateway Airport FBO “Ops” office. You park your aircraft on the far side of that ramp and the FBO supplies you and your pax with a complimentary van shuttle to / from Ops and to / from the airport gate. No extras — if you have many pax/luggage, or wish to park close to the FBO building, or desire more than the standard pilot comforts inside the FBO, or want a concierge service to advise you were to eat, sleep or tour then choose a different FBO. Ops staff were quite friendly and we never truly waited more than two minutes for a van ride from the aircraft to the gate or to the washrooms in Ops. Good lounge chairs in the pilot lounge, older, tidy washrooms. T
