July 6, 2026All around, a great experience-the line crew and front desk attendant were excellent. The rental car pickup and return service was right on point. That said, the ramp fees are hard to justify when you're flying a 172. I could park at Savannah and rent a car for less money. Non-hangar parking runs $62/nt, plus a $30 handling fee. They waive the handling fee if you buy 10 gal of fuel at $9+/gal, but that still doesn't make the numbers work. I'll be back to HHI, just sadly not by plane.

May 31, 2026Had a really good experience. Chris on the line crew was friendly and gave us a hand unloading. Go Rentals had the car brought right over and were very efficient. All our requests were handled with an easy checkout. I appreciated having a couple of fees waived with the fuel purchase. I like the people here and the airport. Thanks, Signature.

April 21, 2026Flew in for the RBC Heritage in a Piper Comanche. Before arriving, I called Signature to make sure there weren't any special event fees and was told no. After landing, I asked again and got the same answer. Then I go to check out Monday morning and get slammed with a $500 bill. They added $140/night for an overnight because of the event. I am BEYOND outraged-nobody mentioned this even after I asked 5 times whether there were any special event fees. $140 a night for an SE piston is completely unreasonable. We have lost the plot. EGREGIOUS.

Noise Abatement: Climb to 1200 feet at a rate consistent with safety and proceed to .25 miles offshore before making a turn, unless directed otherwise by the tower. Southbound departures should remain offshore following the Hilton Head Island shoreline.
