Nate, the operator, is a very knowledgeable mechanic and helpful on the ramp. He has a crew car, and the town of Thermopolis is quaint and has a couple of good places to dine.

Agree with Wade. Very fine country airport, runway/taxi-ways in good shape, like new FBO and reasonable fuel price! I always stop here on my way to Yellowstone & Seattle from Houston in my DA40.
