June 19, 2025Just checked on facility fee for a Citation M2 while planning a trip to HDN. Glad I did. Atlantic has very high handling fee plus the airport Vector fee. Elected not to use airport given the fees. If flying anything other than a piston single check the Atlantic fees before you go to avoid hefty surprise.

September 25, 2023Denver Center Clearance Delivery: 303-651-4257 They prefer you use the published frequency but thought it would be good to post this here in case anyone has trouble reaching with their radios.

APT Lighting Schedule: Actvt MALSF runway 10; reil runway 28; papi runway 10; hirl runway 10/28 - CTAF.
ARFF Certification: Closed to unsked acr opns with more than 30 psgr seats excp ppr; call UNICOM 970-819-1333.
Arff index b apr 16-dec 14 0600-2100. arff index c dec 15-apr 15 0600-2100.
Landing Fee: Landing fee for aircraft 12,500 lbs & over.
Large flocks of sandhill cranes around airport in spring and fall.
No arff index 2100-0600 unless extn apvd by airport nlt 2300.
Possible severe winter conditions from oct-apr. check notams for airport conditions. no airport information nor snow removal guaranteed during hours of nonattendance.
Req all aircraft depg runway 28 make rgt or left turnout as soon as safety permits after takeoff to avoid town of hayden & comply with noise abatement procs.
