August 12, 2023Spent four days with a Mx issue in September. The owner of the Dixon Motel and Club treated me like family. What a fine place to spend a few days, very peaceful with good views. The FBO is not locked and has a bathroom, water and heating/ cooling. The hotel will come and get you. For Verizon customers there is only 1 bar of LTE. AT&T and T Mobil have better coverage.

June 10, 2021I based here at Dixon for two days because I had wildlife flights that start at sunrise. The owners of the motel & bar were fine. They picked me up, made sure I had a home cooked meal (with advanced notice) and treated me like family. The airport manager, Kody, was really good too. Overall good experience! I’ll be back to Dixon!

February 25, 2021During our stop in Dixon we noted the fuel dispenser works fine but dose not accept American Express. The lounge was open and warm providing a pleasant place to rest between flight, though no one was present. It was overall a good experience!

Snow banks +4 ft along entire runway winter months.
Storage Facilities: Pilot supplied ropes required for tie downs
Wildlife on & in vicinity of airport. 6 ft wildlife fence all around airport with gated, cattle guard entrances.
