Hannibal Regional Airport (KHAE)

Made a fast hop from KIJX over to KHAE. Really beautiful airport, with a nice runway and taxiway. Getting the crew car checked out was easy, and it made stopping at Fiddlesticks for supper a breeze! Great place to stop!

Very clean airport and FBO. Flew in on a Sunday and nobody around. However, crew car makes a run into town simple. Hannibal makes a fine couples weekend. Cute town worth exploring. Ample lodging if one gets weathered in.

Hannibal is a wonderful day trip destination. Unattended FBO was quite fine, modern, and spotless. Self service courtesy car was much appreciated. Car is an older Chevy Impala that had cold AC and ran great. Many options for lunch in town along with ample ice cream, coffee, and antique shops. My kids enjoyed the Mark Twain riverboat cruise. We shall return!
