FYI no courtesy rental car anymore.

For 100LL, it took us several tries with 5 distinct credit cards for some reason, which was very frustrating as we were freezing cold and also took up a considerable amount of time. We will not land here again.

Stopped for overnight. Crew car supplied at no cost. Bathrooms were tidy. To the unfortunate pilot who had slow gas pumping…you need to turn the pump switch on. It is situated to the left of the equipment and isn’t marked, but once you flick it to the on position the fuel flows good.

Stopped for fuel, good cost. However, the pump is extremely slow. Excruciatingly slow! 🔌 About 15 minutes to pump 18 gallons. Hopefully it will be fixed.

I stopped in recently to top off 100LL enroute to Santa Fe. I was able to get 5 gallons for my Cessna 150, but the pump dispenses so slowly I had to hold the pump handle for about 10 minutes. If you have a larger plane you could be squeezing the trigger for 30 to 60 minutes. Lounge is a long walk from the fuel pump, but it's fine for a small airport with vending machines and clean restrooms.

I passed thru Grants-Milan airport on my way east. It is a sleepy airport, and I was the only customer at the time of my arrival. The airport manager was away at the time, so it felt like a ghost town. However, after my skeptical first impressions, I was very happy with the service (thank you Lynn Cannon). The lounge had a comfortable couch, the restrooms were tidy, and there is a small airport museum just a few minutes walk. Do not anticipate a courtesy car or any extras though.

Normal business hours show 0800-1700. But nobody was present to fuel us and every number provided was wrong. Restrooms are unpleasant.

Stopped over the weekend. Jim was a good help. The courtesy car was out already and he dropped us at the hotel and picked us up the next morning too. Fuel was simple as well. Would certainly stop again. Emerson G. 177GT
