Called 8 hours ahead to confirm they would have mogas. Was told the self-serve was available, but when I got there it was inop since they aren't receiving mogas shipments. No NOTAM. If you're coming for Sun and Fun, make sure you ask them to double check.

Overall, a good facility. We had problems with them not leaving rental car keys in the after hours lockbox. I think the manager fixed that. With permission, they moved my Twin Cessna to the grass due to SNF. Days later, prior to departure I asked them to move it back to the ramp and fuel it. They surprised me with a "towing fee" to move the plane back to the ramp. I would avoid Enterprise Rental Car. They delivered one of two cars, even after verification. Hertz is on site.

Flew in for a 4 day meeting. Good self serve fuel prices. Very welcoming and helpful personnel. Fine FBO inside with eatery, pilot shop and tidy washrooms. TPA easy to work with getting IFR clearance to depart.

The self serve fuel farm is on the South side of RWY 05 / 23. Across the field from the FBO and eatery which is on North side. Self serve is on the ramp where the flight school is situated.

Missed the Lakeland landing cutoff by a few minutes, so ended up diverting here overnight during SNF. Obviously they’ve handled SNF before and were set up for this kind of thing, with lots of aircraft parking, staff on hand to fuel, golf cart rides, etc. Can’t say how normal ops are, but for the special event they beat my expectations.

Good facility. Labor Day weekend trip 2025. Rented a car through Hertz, location in FBO terminal. Simple pickup. They were closed when we left, so we left the keys with the counter. $20/night fee for C-414a. Fair amount of training in the area, but simple IFR release with TPA approach.

Stopped 21 March with a couple of Cubs for lunch at the cafe. No services needed, but the line crew checked to see if we needed anything and the people at the front desk were good. Very professional. The next time I will return with an airplane that has a higher fuel burn and top off. These folks deserve the patronage.

Fine FBO and people. cafe has good food. Had a manifold register issue and they gave me a couple numbers. Robert Taylor at Flight Aviation 101 at the north hangars was great! Nice guy. Very reasonably priced. Have a problem, try him, knowledgeable and did not AOG price me to death. Jeremy H.
