August 13, 2025Stopped in for fuel 7/11 and howarth555 was a good host. He helped me fuel up and offered a beverage and basic southern hospitality. My next stop was outside of Chicago where they barely acknowledged my presence and didn't care if I was there or not. Fine job howarth555 and we all appreciate and recognize the extra effort, it shows.

June 23, 2025ForeFlight list Woody as airport manager and he was up to a year ago, he was very sociable and a fine host. The replacement is Mark Morehouse, he has been there since Woody retired and been as good a host as Woody was. The airport is well kept, beautiful runway and grounds. I have had a few good visits and look forward to more. Thank you Mark for your hospitality.

February 4, 2024Stopped in to visit my daughter, expecting to stay a few days but extended to two weeks. Airport manager , Mark, was very gracious and helpful. Runway and grounds are in superb shape. A fine little airport. Thanks
