Quick stop for fuel and go. There is a car available and a fine FBO I checked out - thought of staying for the night and could have, nice facilities, but I kept proceeding. I called to see if they had fuel, Saturday so no answer but the manager or owner called back to let me know they had fuel and the directions for the car. Would come again for sure.

Sign on entrance of building: “The fuel system is privately owned and not affiliated with the City of Grant or KGGF. If there are problems call (308) 280-2000.” A worker, who was the sole person in view, was cutting grass near the pump; he informed me that he worked for the local fuel business in town, which runs the 100LL pump “so that the city does not need to handle it.” The pump itself is automobile-style, with the typical GA card reader setup. It functioned fine for me, apart from the hose reel motor being inop and needing to be spun by hand. The structure, which I assume is supplied by the city, had toilets & couch. It was tidy and quietly empty.
