January 2, 2026We had a fantastic day flying in with our Cirrus SR22. Che at the front desk was super helpful with setting up a rental car, getting us topped off with reasonably priced fuel, and helping us with a pre-heat plug-in. We'll definitely be back, and thanks again to Che!!

February 26, 2022I was based here at a flying club for several years prior to moving back to the Midwest, so I was acquainted with the general arrangement of things. Line personnel met us and got us parked on the ramp. Nevertheless, the plane was not moved to tie down for the five nights it was on the ground, somewhat disheartening. I was relieved nothing occurred to the aircraft. The 2X overnight ramp charge for a very light twin that occupies about the same area compared to a Cirrus ($15 a night) is a bit excessive, but a night was excused with 20 gal self-serve fuel purchase. Why do I feel the overnight cost is a bit wild? I stayed one night at Dulles due to crosswinds at GAI and their daily tie down fee was $35 a night at a major class B airport. It was nice to see a new cafe on the field. I did not consume there so I cannot confirm for the food or service. The vehicle gate now has key-fob access instead of a code. Phone the FBO during open hours and they can remote open it for you to get back to your aircraft. If you arriv

November 28, 2025They charge a 3% "convenience fee" for using a credit card. Quite stingy conduct. Not certain I have observed that at any other FBO. Next time I will make sure to bring my wad of fuel purchase cash.

October 3, 2025They maintain a policy for 10 gallon minimum for the ground crew to fuel with the truck. I only required 3 gallons prior to my flight, and they billed me for 7 extra. Paid almost $70 for a total of 3 gallons. Inquired if I could receive the 7 gallons following my flight and they responded negatively because the 10 gallon standard covers the expense for the ground crew to transport the truck and complete the fueling. Quite shady conduct-- I was unaware of this regulation.

January 25, 2023Quite fine facility. The eatery is available early. It is also available on Mondays when many spots usually shut down. Good for all meals and features a patio for viewing. Very welcoming personnel. Fuel assistance is quick to respond to both radio and mobile calls. Pattern traffic can be active with instruction flights (but the SRFA generally means instruction flights go to other locations for pattern practice) so awareness is essential. This airport permits entry to U of MD, DC, Baltimore without the Class B problems upon arrival.

January 16, 2022Fantastic FBO and good little cafe inside. The FBO manager also owns the restaurant and are wonderful people. Very welcoming and the food is good quality. Fresh croissants made locally and proper espresso coffee. The guy who runs it is Norwegian- Tom. Super nice guy who is also a highly qualified jet pilot. Definitely stop in and grab a bite to eat at this spot.

July 27, 2021We spent two evenings with DC Metro to visit friends and we received quick service from this FBO. As soon as we landed the woman at the front desk called us on the radio and inquired about services needed. We were marshaled into a spot and the fuel truck arrived immediately. Upon departure Fernando was very helpful. Certainly a fine location to use for your GA needs while visiting Washington DC.
