Great service! Ended up stuck there in extremely cold temps (for Alabama), and Randel was really helpful in getting us a hanger for the night... very much appreciated for getting us back in the air in a quick timeframe! Highly recommend!

Flying from Spartanburg SC to Monroe LA, KGAD seemed like a fine fuel stop. It turned out to be a dreadful experience. I concur with Jeff B., but would also give everybody a heads up on the self serve fuel. The pump struggled to prime, but the worst was the fuel hose kept rewinding while I tried to purchase fuel. It yanked it out of my hand while climbing the ladder. Over all, very bad experience. I'm looking for a new stop for this flight in the future.

We had to divert to KGAD on Sunday, June 30 due to weather. When we arrived, it was closed, which is understandable, however, this is the first Municipal Airport I have ever been to that does not have a code on the door and key sitting on the counter to run to town and get a sandwich. I fly into a LOT of out of the way municipal airports and this is a first. Also, ground clamp on fuel farm broken. Took three tries for it to finally pump fuel. Probably a fine place through the week though.
