April 20, 2025Good airport. We got stuck here due to weather and everybody was very friendly and useful. Michael even gave us a ride to get some food.

April 6, 2025Restricted Area R-2102 North of the airport, ATC would not give us an approach to RWY22 due to the restricted being hot. Had to land RWY4 with a decent tailwind, so plan accordingly. FBO is closed on weekends.

May 26, 2023This was once a good race weekend experience. Now, there is no way to walk to the track from the airport and even after paying the $100 landing fee, they will not permit you to walk on the access road. To get to the track you must hire a golf cart for the long trip and $20/person. The line workers are very friendly though. They no longer have a temporary control tower on race weekends so it’s one in one out with ATC…plan to depart VFR after the race or wait for an hour on the ground.
