Washington Aviation (KFYG)

Kevin Hellman has become my favorite airport manager. He greeted us warmly and helped secure our RV-10. We were in the area for several days when a major storm came through that first night. Kevin personally arranged to have our plane moved into a hangar, where it remained for three nights as another front passed through with possible hail and tornados. That was far beyond what anyone would normally expect. I highly recommend stopping here. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, with gorgeous rolling hills.

Well kept airport and FBO with spotless restrooms. Kind folks and fine fuel costs.

Super experience! Nice runway, ramp and rental availability. Kevin’s service was outstanding along with very competitive fuel prices for full service. Rental car through Enterprise pulled right up to the plane before we got out. Definitely my St Louis area airport of choice.

Fine airport and welcoming personnel. Facilities are tidy and the fuel costs are reasonable for 100LL full service.

What a fine discovery! Stopped in for fuel and midday meal on the route from New Orleans to St Paul. Was met at the pump and offered the courtesy car. The town of Washington is only three miles away right across the Missouri River. Had a delicious lunch at Marquart’s Landing on the River. Will be back!
