Banyan Air Service (KFXE)

They said they were the Bahama experts... that wasn't really our experience. Fuel was also a bit pricey.

This was our fourth time using Banyan, and every visit has brought friendly, efficient service. For our possible flotation needs, we went with Aviation Raft Rental, and they provided excellent service right to Banyan. 954-870-4731 On our most recent stop, we ate at the Jet Runway Cafe while they refueled us and had a great meal! We’ll definitely be back!

If you're not flying a $10m+ jet they don't care about you. Called an hour before. Nothing was going on and they were still surprised to see me showing up on the ramp. Called ahead for a quick turn on gas and they still had me taxi to the corner to hide my piston engines. Line service didn't care at all. Desk lady didn't care at all. Not convenient. Costly. Never again.

Banyan shows National Car Rental but that does not seem to be an option . . . .

Correction, they have two crew cars.

Banyan is absolutely top tier, and it’s easy to understand why so many people choose to come here. A few months back, we had a bit of a debacle because we didn’t have transportation arranged for our passenger. Barbara was a superstar and managed to find us something by email while we were still 15 minutes out. The line staff were very friendly, and the fuel and fees were fairly priced. Highly recommend them.

Good FBO with the lowest fees and fuel costs on the field. Everybody was super friendly. Ramp fee waived with 10 gallons of fuel. Crew car limited to 1 hour but go rentals on site.

Amazingly large FBO, yet super efficient and went out of their way to assist us with gear we were missing to finish a database update. A+ FBO.

Beware of hidden charges. One woman informed me the initial night parking was waived, but it developed that she did not grasp the distinction between my plane and a different one. The gentleman checking me out stated, well occasionally that occurs. And sometimes truthful evaluations will hopefully cause them to instruct their customer support to be uniform. Third visit to this FBO and my prior experiences were good, this instance less so. I will attempt a different FBO next occasion.

Banyan is a good stop heading to and from the Bahamas! Class act and fine service from every Banyan worker we met! Thanks a bunch. C Wealing
