Quiet small airport situated up about as far as one can go in the east. Runway, ramp and FBO all in superb condition. Matt was friendly and very helpful. Came out to refuel my plane at the self serve and assisted me push back. Had the courtesy car all filled up and operating. Be sure to call ahead as he wears many hats at the airport. Headed to the Lakeview Restaurant for lobster rolls and then onto Fort Kent to visit the monument for the beginning of Route 1. Looking forward to our subsequent visit!

Cannot suggest KFVE enough. Not only is it the farthest north airport in New England, and completely worth the journey, the airport manager Matt was cordial and very helpful. While my plane was tied down we had a big wind storm come thru and he went out to check on the plane, saving me an hour drive. He swapped out one of my tie down straps I was worried about. Shall return shortly!

Superb service to the Northern Maine region. Matt the manager is very helpful. Abundant tie downs and hanger area plus plug in for heat. Complimentary rental car to reach the lovely St. John River Valley. Wonderful campsite for free overlooking Long Lake!
