I’d back K-Bobs too...it’s a must. I didn’t get there until 930pm and it was still great, even right before close. Just make sure you plan any after hours arrivals! No ride share and taxi options are limited

Exceptional stay here. Shall come back. Contacted FBO to inform them I would be arriving around 6pm, which is sixty minutes after their closing time. I phoned upon arrival and was directed on how to obtain the courtesy car, which I kept overnight. Town is near the airport. Lodging options numerous. Affordable avgas. Wonderful stop. Shall return.

Good FBO, just in an older facility now but it had cold AC and restrooms. I could not locate the keys for the courtesy car so phoned Randy he was very helpful and informed me where to look. Went to town had lunch. Fine stop.

In an effort to avoid a massive line of thunderstorms...Welcome to TX, we arrived at KFST. Although we showed up late around 2035L manager met us and offered us the hanger to get out of the elements and wind. Crew car was accessible and we strongly suggest K-BOB's steakhouse, open till 2200. Plenty of hotels but on a Tuesday, we eventually secured a room on the 6th attempt. The following day we self served 100LL @ a fine price and away we departed. We shall certainly be stopping again. Highly recommend KFST.

Fine modern facility now. Arrived after hours, but manager made arrangements for courtesy car. Shall visit again.

Stopped in for an overnight stay February 2023, I called a few days ahead of time to ask about transportation from the airport to the hotel which was along I-10. I was told there is no taxi or shared ride services available. Called the hotel and there was no shuttle either. FBO mentioned there was a courtesy vehicle available first-come first-served. Luckily when I arrived the vehicle was available. When I called them a few days before arrival I was given a phone number to call if I arrived after closing hours. I did in fact arrive after closing and called the number, they were very helpful and accommodating. I was able to keep the courtesy car overnight. New FBO building is being built, plenty of tie down parking, bring your own tie downs. Runways and taxiways in good shape. Would stop in again, reasonable fuel prices.
