Fort Meade Executive Airport (KFME)

Warm welcome with several offers of assistance on both arrival and departure. Lots of transient parking right by the fuel pumps, and fuel was priced better than average. I arrived and left IFR, and you have to phone ATC for clearance to depart. Parking costs $10 during the day or overnight, then goes down to $7.50 for an extended stay. There were no extra charges for my piston single. Some of the building and the restrooms are open 24 hours. Staff provide the gate code. Enterprise can bring rental cars to the airport.

I bring my Cirrus there often. Good airport, nice helpful people, simple to get in and out. One of my preferred stops!

Staff is professional and cordial. Facility basic but tidy and organized. The self-serve pump equipment is in fine condition.

Flew in today for a YouthAviation event. Upon landing was marshaled to good parking spot by Ron Whitehead, a very attentive and friendly FBO staff person. Nice chat with him afterwards! GA needs more people like him!

Bring your own chocks if you need them. Staff lent them to me but needed me to chock my own plane. Quite self serve. Nice and friendly, though.

Don't linger around this ramp. Regardless of how much fuel you purchase, they are going to attempt to assess a $10 charge.

Short strip but always works for our plane fuel is reasonable and self serve. Close to DC without getting a pin

Absolutely the rudest FBO staff I’ve encountered High prices for zero service They seem to believe they have different rules than federal guidelines If your traveling to the area I suggest the 1 hour drive From Kdmw
