Scenic area, doesn't get much better. Good airport with small unattended FBO. Transient parking for single engine piston $21 per night. Simple walk into town to hotels and eateries. Fuel pump on West side of the field. Don't forget right pattern on Runway 16 and follow noise abatement with climb to 1,100 MSL before turning, #cirruspilot

8/25/2023: The eatery is presently shut; it should resume operating sometime this autumn. As mentioned below, park in the transient parking in the northeast corner of the airport grounds beside the airport flight planning shed and the pedestrian exit gate. Bring your own tiedowns. Downtown is a simple walk (downhill going into town, uphill on the return trip). Truly no requirement for any transportation.

Fine aerodrome with dining within walking range. Settle overnight charge using QR code or traditional envelope. Self fuel across the area beside the eatery. Surely check out the Hangar Hotel for stopover…aviation themed rooms, communal washrooms, fine for smaller parties. Proprietor manages the cafe and is a very skilled aviator (mil & civ). Aerodrome Flight planning facility is pleasant with a restroom. Make certain to park at the northeast apron for transient planes for simplest entry to all amenities.
