KEWK is my home airport, and has a lot of tenants from as far as Wichita. For good reason: good, clean terminal; fine runways; simple in and out; and most crucially, truly wonderful staff. They are always going out of their way to assist, whether it's -5 or 110 out. Well-known mechanic with full engine shop on the field also (Midwest). Flight school on the field, and I've seen B-29 "doc" practicing there also. Take the courtesy car to Breadbasket (esp. Fri/Sat evenings) or Cajun Crab!

Landed on a strong easterly and I would not say the 08/25 runway is "good" asphalt. It's secure but not in the finest condition. Just be mindful

Very friendly FBO. I will say I was surprised that the listed fuel price is cash price and does not include 8.5% sales tax. I’ve not seen places add sales tax on top of fuel costs.
