March 26, 2026For whatever it’s worth: Tiedown prices here are insane. I wanted to base a light single at the airport, but an outside tiedown came to more than $350 with taxes. That’s compared with $125 at the big Daytona Beach airport and $99 in Ormond Beach. Management at the FBO didn’t seem to care much when I said we couldn’t do business. "Nobody else has complained." I’m guessing dozens of people have simply laughed and walked away.
