Charlotte/Monroe Executive (KEQY)

Way too many frustrating experiences here-the management seems to put profit ahead of customer service. They bumped the minimum Jet-A purchase for small single-engine jets from 50 gal. up to 175 gal., even though most airports only require 50 to 80 gal. There’s no de-fuel service either, although a line worker assisted me in removing 30 gal., and I was still billed $725. I called several times asking them to bring the charge down to $130, and each time they said they would lower the minimum. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Stay away from this airport. I was on the ground for two hours, bought no fuel, and used zero services with an aircraft under 12k MGTOW, yet they hit me with a $350 charge. If you don't take enough fuel to meet their minimum, they'll prorate the minimum ramp fee anyway. Total rip-off. This review will probably get deleted.

I've been using this airport for many years, and the overnight fees used to be quite reasonable. Like others have mentioned, the prices have gone up significantly. It's disappointing to see this happening here, just like at so many other airports.
