Kemmerer Airport at Kemmerer Municipal Pilot ReviewsOverall Rating:

July 14, 2026Good place for a fuel stop. Found a bird's nest in the fuel nozzle receptacle and dug it out. Keep in mind the fuel card reader is inside the FBO, and it times out fast once it reads your card. I ground the plane and stretch out the fuel hose, then head inside to run the card and hurry back out to pump.

August 28, 2025Freshly sealed and painted runway. However our pit stop turned into a mess because bathrooms were inexplicably locked (apparently this is not unusual) and the timeout on the fuel pump exceedingly brief especially with the reader being in the FBO building. It took 5 timeouts to get fuel into all the tanks. I prefer these less traveled airports and KEMM is clearly attempting but next time will stop at nearby Rock Springs instead!

March 7, 2021New fuel farm. Now the credit card terminal for it is in the FBO building, short walk. Unattended.

June 21, 2026There was no potable water, and no soda, bottled water, food, or anything like that. The fuel ladder is extremely heavy and awkward to move, although very solid. Just like on my previous visit, you have to sprint from the card reader back to the aircraft before the pump times out. Birds have built a nest in the fuel-handle holder, so watch out for contamination around the 100LL fuel nozzle. The airport itself is in excellent condition, with runways available for pretty much any wind direction.

August 20, 2025We stopped at Kemmerer coming and going. Chad is fabulous., he is the reason we always stop. We had a courtesy car available during both stops for our overnight stay. The runway, ramp and FBO are very fine. Fuel prices are very reasonable. We always make it a point to stop here when traveling thru. When fueling I always have my wife run the card in the FBO while I stay at the plane due to the distance. The pump may time out otherwise. It's an FAA thing.

May 27, 2023Grounding cables were broken on both the Jet A and 100LL pumps so we could not get fuel, called to let them know but nobody answered. Nice small airport other than that
