December 16, 2021Had induction icing related issue and needed to divert to KELY. Tim Parrish and the people at Ely Jet Center were amazing!! They towed me off the runway and supplied me with transport to hotel. Next morning I come and they already removed the 6 inches of snow off the aircraft. Then, they put my plane in hangar for it to warm up and melt frost. After spark plug issue Tim sourced tools to get me on my way. Only the best from Ely Jet Center... and all they charged me was for fuel.

August 14, 2021Spent three days in Ely playing tourist. We arranged in advance with Tim Parrish of Ely Jet Services to use a courtesy car (no rental cars available in Ely) which he had ready when we arrived after he marshalled us into our tie down. We visited Great Basin National Park, Lehman Caves, did a couple train rides on the Nevada Northern Railroad with restored steam locomotives, ate dinner in a jail cell at the Cell Block Steakhouse, and generally had a fine time. Terrific hospitality and commendable service by Ely Jet. Stop in, you will like it!

December 2, 2021Tim and Mark are the nicest guys ever! Diverted to Ely on a planned trip from Salt Lake City to Monterey due to the atmospheric river (yeah, that big one) creating a bigger ice concern at 16,000 than forecast, one I didn’t think my TKS would manage. Tim dug the tie down out of the ice and allowed me to plug in my heater. Gave me keys to a courtesy car to get to my hotel. Snowed the next day and I met interesting folks in town for New Years Eve. New Years morning, Mark had lotsa stories from his military flying days as I let the sun melt the ice on my laminar flow wings before departing in severe clear after the atmospheric river finally passed. Taught me a bunch, too. Tim and Mark made the whole deal good! Highly recommend this stop.
