As others have mentioned, the fuel costs are quite fair and there is a superb eatery on the premises. The gentlemen who manage this field are some of the friendliest and most thoughtful people you will encounter, specifically Mr. Williams and Mr. Bishop. Over the years they have assisted me with a flat tire, landing lights and just this weekend supplying a hangar because of the weather danger. I stop by here frequently since my son resides in Dexter and it's a true benefit to have such a wonderful airport destination!

Imagine that. Sensible fuel cost with simple entry, quite fair cost, fine food, and then a pilot lounge for a cup of coffee for the next leg. Ranks right up there to a home run!

Arrived midday on a Friday. FBO unattended, but entry was given by posted lock code and anything a transient pilot may require is supplied within. Self service fuel pumps functioned fine. Airways Cafe situated on field and open M-F 0600 - 1400, Sat. 0600 - 1300. Closed Sunday.

Good breakfast or lunch stop along with inexpensive fuel! A win/win in my view!
