I like flying into DRO, but the landing fees have gotten astronomical. Our last stop was only about 30 minutes, we picked up 25 gallons of fuel in a single engine piston, and the lady at the desk wanted to charge us $45 in handling fees. After a short back and forth we got that knocked down to $10-12 (security fee, facility fee, and tie down fee).

Expensive 100 LL, but superb, welcoming assistance even for a single-engine piston, and might waive some charges with fuel purchase. Drove the Enterprise rental car right up to the plane. Would surely keep my plane here again.

The maximum charges we have paid in Colorado. Brought the cost of fuel up to nearly $10 per gallon for Jet A. This was subsequent to taking more than the minimum to waive the ramp charge in a VLJ. The personnel is friendly and useful. We would visit this airport more often if the charges were not so elevated.

Fantastic service this past week at AvFlight! While on approach for Rwy 21 AvFlight called on UNICOM and asked if we needed a car or fuel. When we replied we had a Hertz rental car coming over, they said it was already there and would have it waiting for us on the ramp. They marshaled us to our parking spot and the rental was there waiting. We were out the security gate in under 5 minutes and made our business appointment on schedule. Superb work AvFlight! - Wes S.

Second time I’ve used AvFlight. We had rented direct thru Avis so they gave us a ride over to main terminal. We were able to drop rental car at the FBO, they returned it for us. Super friendly, had plane fueled and pulled up front. Good service.

Clueless young guy at the FBO desk. I asked for my aircraft to be towed into the wind for engine start, and he told the line crew to drag it around in a full circle instead. I’m staying away from this FBO, because who knows what he’d do next.

Unbelievable extra fees. We knew the fuel price was steep, so that part wasn’t a surprise. We only came in here because family is in Durango. And then, to top it off. Amy at the desk was flat-out rude and a nightmare to deal with. David, our lineman, was great. After the experience with Amy at the FBO desk. Next time we’ll go into Farmington and just rent a car up to Durango. I won’t be wasting my time landing here again.

Top notch service from AvFlight. Becky was super helpful and communicative. Everyone on the team, from front desk to ground crew were professional, courteous and helpful. The rental car was ready promptly on landing and they let me in for a plane side to load. Can't thank the AvFlight team enough!

Flew into KDRO Friday and flew home today. Ruth was good at getting my bill taken care of and the plane moved closer to the FBO for my early morning departure. Everybody was friendly, fast & efficient. A fine FBO in a wonderful town! Dan J.
