February 14, 2026No doubt, Flying W is the stop to make in Dalhart. Clay and Clinton went way above and beyond to help me out during an unplanned stop. Their fuel prices are outstanding, they've got a really good lounge area and restrooms. They offer courtesy cars, and they went out of their way to shelter my airplane and get me launched early in the morning. The "other" FBO doesn't come close.

June 13, 2023Flew in after hours in our Cardinal but the Flying W crew put us in their hangar overnight due to TS in area and then gave us one of their personal vehicles for RON in town. Good Texas hospitality!

January 15, 2026Outstanding FBO, rolled in after hours and they still handed me the crew car keys and tucked our Cirrus into the hangar. Also got to check out some cool Ag planes. All in all the best stop!!!

October 16, 2025Wow! We stayed overnight in Dalhart on 9/15/25 and fueled at Flying W. I was quite pleased with the fuel cost, and the customer service was outstanding! They arranged a crew car for me for the evening, and suggested a fine eating place near the hotel. When you get the chance to stop at KDHT, get your fuel at Flying W. These folks are superb. It's at the north end of the field, due west of the displaced threshold of runway 17.

June 11, 2023On a cross-country trip from Iowa to Santa Fe, the personnel at KDHT were very helpful. They rapidly fueled my plane, suggested a place to eat at the on-site restaurant, and gave me guidance for my first time, crossing the mountain Ridge. The amenities were superb, and I would happily stop in again!
