We landed here after hours in December and did not have the forethought to call ahead during working hours. We will certainly know better next time. We about froze since FBO is locked up after hours. Could not reach anyone on the phone. Uber did not respond and local taxis were not available. Finally we had to load the (LIFT app) and we were able to secure transportation to the hotel using LIFT. Next morning I explained to the FBO clerk and was told if we had called ahead we could have had a crew car.

Info section states FBO is open 8am - 8pm. In reality open 8am - 6pm. Taxi number listed in info section is disconnected. Working taxi numbers are: 706 483 1814; 762 231 7143.

Grew up near this town, so I stop in occasionally to see my dad. Good fuel and a helpful staff!

After a 3 hour flight, we arrived after the FBO was closed. We were at a table under the FBO shelter trying to figure out the Uber app when up comes a fellow on a motorized tug. Benson, airport employee, had just finished some pattern laps and learned we were stopping overnight. He immediately offered to set us up with a crew car. What a blessing and unexpected surprise. He let us in for the restrooms just like the place was still open. Good customer service!!

Highly recommend the FBO at CZL. Dwight, the manager, was extremely accommodating and helpful. Superb rates for 100LL and Jet A. No charges for piston planes or for dropping pax. Quite fair facility fees for turbine aircraft and for GPU. Fine FBO building complete with an observation deck. Situated halfway between Atlanta and Chattanooga. Good spot to stop.
