I've been visiting Mtn West for the past 9 years and they are superb. It's not a flashy Signature FBO, but the staff are truly sincere, cordial folks who try hard to assist you. They don't have much staff turnover too, so they understand their tasks and they really plan ahead concerning what you might require. Strongly suggested.

Flew into CXP this past weekend on a Sunday to take my soon to be 94 year old father up for a trip as he used to fly for the FAA. Ended up leaving the plane overnight with MountainWest. The next day at 19 degrees the frost was not clearing off at all. Dan pulled it into their hangar and it was well worth the 60 dollars to get it "heated" up and dried out. I'll be back with these folks

Good and welcoming staff. Arranged to meet DPE for checkride and team at Mountain West could not have been more helpful (and sympathetic after 172 mag check failed on runup and we had to postpone the checkride for another day).

Good service! Steve, came out to meet me at transient tiedowns with my rental car. Showed me where to park and greeted us with warmth and hospitality. Fine stop!

Be aware, the price that shows up for fuel is the self-serve price, and the self-serve pumps are not on the FBO premises. You will have to taxi to a different location if you want to get that price. For jet fuel, the difference in price is quite dramatic. Otherwise, no problems, everyone was helpful and courteous.

The whole crew, Courtney, Steve, Dan, Martin, and Phil. This team has more than once, gone out of their way to make this a good experience for our crew and passengers. Car Rentals, Cleaning, Catering, Fuel! They help wonderfully with all of it. Can't beat their service! Thanks guys.

I come here 5 or 6 times a year and Mtn West has always been good to me! They're helpful with temporary hangars when needed, courteous, and everything is clean and welcoming.

Mountain West is good. They were very welcoming and greeted us like a corporate jet even though we were in a piston. We were unable to secure an Uber XL or Lyft mid day on a Sunday so they loaned us a crew vehicle knowing we couldn’t return it until after they closed. I wish we could have bought more than 20 gallons of fuel but the DA was over 7000 and we had 5 pax so I wanted to keep it light. I have had fine service in the past at their TVL location before but this was my first trip to CXP. It’s a fine small airport and I’ll happily return. Thank You Mountain West.
