Fine facility, accommodating personnel. We spent the night and did not think about ground transport. There is no Uber, taxi service covers a very wide geographic region. I would suggest arranging before you get there. Being a tourist destination I did not imagine this would be an issue.

I stopped into CVX to drop off a friend and get lunch. Very fine facility and the crew there was very accommodating. There was no charge for my stay. I returned back a few hours later to find I left my masters on. I asked for assistance with this and the crew was all over it. I would rate this FBO as a 10 out of 10. Bonus, the views of the area are breath taking.

Stopped at CVX to drop off my spouse last week. staff (mark) could not have been nicer. Friendly and welcoming. No fees for my Cardinal. Had a very fine crew car I used to drop off my spouse. Excellent service. Very much the opposite of the old comments about CVX I had read. Donald R.

I stopped here and was not right away greeted at taxi in, but once I shut off my plane I was told to start back up and move. Service was fine for fuel and pulling car up to plane, but that was about it. FPO closes at 5 PM, and they lock their doors. No access to bathrooms, there is a pilot lounge but code is not listed anywhere. I called Lake service number with no answer, had to run to local store to use bathroom before departure. 😬😬

Good stop! Self serve fuel and used the courtesy crew car to drive into town.

No landing fee and $10/night ramp fee for Cessna 172 on 8/1/23. No waiver for fuel purchase. Promptly fueled by the fuel truck. No issues.

I recently flew to Charlevoix airport and had a very fine experience. After I parked my plane I put my fuel order in and the attendant was very courteous and promptly took good care of my plane. The people behind the desk were very friendly they offered us bikes to ride in town and gave us good suggestions of where to go on our first visit to this wonderful town. Looking forward to returning.

No car. High fuel costs and then I was charged an overnight ramp fee for the 3 days I stayed there. I even took full fuel, but still ramp fee. Back to Gaylord and harbor springs!

This airport is very poorly managed, young attendants with zero knowledge, or desire to assist anyone. We shall never stop here again, would not want to inconvenience anybody!
