Flying Tigers Aviation at Chino Pilot ReviewsOverall Rating:

Really neat little FBO with WWII-themed decor throughout. As a first-time visitor to CNO, it was simple to spot since it sits right at the base of the tower. The staff came out to marshal us in and even got our Uber driver through the gate and directly over to the FBO. Ramp fee was waived with a fuel purchase, though they do charge 3% on credit card transactions. Overall, a great stop.

Had a fantastic experience at Flying Tigers today. Flew in for the Planes of Fame museum (highly recommend it too if you enjoy seeing historic aircraft that are still airworthy). They gave me a ride most of the way over to the museum. The reasonable facility fee was waived with a reasonable single-engine piston fuel purchase. Thanks, Flying Tigers!

If you are seeking an FBO where you wanna pay $3.5 for water and $0.30/gal more for fuel and certainly not be able to relax, it is superb. Your alternative choice is the old container just the corner of rwy21 has complimentary snack, cozy coach, welcoming staff and less expensive fuel.

I selected this airport for the week because the overnight was $5. Wow was I surprised. $35 a night $35 handling fee $50 no fuel fee. I did not have sufficient capacity to meet their 30 gallon minimum. So sad. I will park somewhere else next time

No charge for parking at Flying Tigers if staying under 3 hours -- sufficient time to walk to and visit Planes of Fame Museum, dine at Flo’s, and see Yanks Aviation Museum. Both museums are fine -- if you see one, you absolutely must see the other. Yanks Aviation Museum showed kindness to me on this 100+ degree day and drove me the 1.5 miles back to Flying Tigers.

Yesterday was an absolutely positive experience. Even though I chose self-service, someone came out right away to welcome me and get the fuel setup started. Insight and out, the place felt like an AVG group base somewhere in Rangoon. I was practically teleported to 1940. Everything was super clean, with a real sense of pride and friendliness everywhere. Plus, it’s close to the tower. Truly an amazing FBO. I’m excited to return.

Isa and Angel were good! Isa assisted us with a larger car and made our day! This is my first visit to Chino and Flying Tigers. A CAA preferred FBO and fine service!

The most unfriendly and unhelpful FBO I've been to in a long time. Avoid if at all possible.

Be sure to call and check if your car from Enterprise has arrived. Ours was not and the location was hard to reach. The girls at the desk set us up with a rental that was ready to be picked up, a little smaller than we needed, but it worked, so kudos to them. The building decor is good for a pilot's pilot. We came in for the CAA rate, but Encore would be better suited to jet passengers.
