Claremont was a fine stop and has a solid mechanic that worked on our piper Aztec while we had an in flight emergency during an imaging flight operating as Air America LLC. That being said, there is a good Vetenarian in nearby LEB where my pet sought medical attention the same time our aircraft sought maintaining.

Stopped over Claremont airport yesterday 02/11/2022 in my cirrus sr22 for some inexpensive fuel and spoke to local pilots Roy Barnes and Dave Carton. When I arrived some ice was still on the runway and taxiway from the snowstorm a day before but they were in the process of removing the ice. Did a fly over the airport to check the runway condition, someone was helpful to give me a report of the conditions on the runway over the radio. The FBO is new and clean Roy Barnes was friendly and kindly assist me push back my plane on the ice from the fuel pump station, Dave Carton was helpful enough to make a path on the runway with the snowplow so it was safe for me take the runway. Roy Barnes and Dave Carton two wonderful local pilot, I will be returning soon with my family to check out the local cuisine.
