I did my first solo here a few years back, and the airport manager went out of the way to make it a moment I wouldn't forget! Even after a bird strike, the FBO crew had the runway safe again in seconds and they were unbelievably kind and caring. I especially like how much they get the younger generations involved in aviation through the local schools and organizations!

Unplanned diversion after hrs due to IFR @ KDNV. Terminal closed but fine clean restrooms open in vestibule, many thanks! Self-fuel worked well; note that fuel hoses face out from ENDS of pump island, so for easier hose work, park perpendicular to island rather than parallel to credit card facility as at most. Pump handles have good fast cutoff. Also: had reason to call airport next day and Laurie on staff was helpful and friendly above and beyond the task.

Awesome facilities, friendly staff. If you are looking for a stop in the area, this should be on the top of your list.
