January 16, 2026Good airport! Very much country airport feel. Lots of traffic on a Tuesday morning? One guy at a complete stop on the crossing runway not talking on freq. really nice airport overall. Just stopped for a quick landing and full stop taxi back.

August 17, 2025Pattern wasnt too busy, but had some helicopters doing autos to a taxiway giving position reports so fast they were impossible to grasp before dropping a helicopter out of the sky. Had called ahead and asked where to park a helo and told to park far out on ramp because helipad was full. Parked where instructed....FBO didnt answer the radio, had to walk quite a ways to order gas. Took 45 minutes to get fuel. FBO staff seemed uninterested that it was taking so long. Wouldnt go back.

March 24, 2025First the good news: Spere One FBO was fine and friendly. Now the bad news: I've been flying for many years and have flown into many very busy airports but I felt I was taking my life in my hands flying into here! Getting cut off by other planes, having an aircraft right behind me on final. It was truly scary. This airport is in need of a control tower! This place went from being a sleepy little airport to becoming a collision waiting to happen with the influx of people and planes.
