Was in Hurricane for over a week visiting family for Thanksgiving. Good little airport, very convenient if in Hurricane, but a little out of the way if in STG. Fuel was simple, parking was simple, and runway is in excellent condition. Free WiFi on field, and small pilot lounge available with restrooms. NO lighting, so don't come at night. Also, mind the noise abatement procedures.

Flew in on a Thursday morning. Transient is very limited, had to park in the gravel. Good location and friendly tenants. If you are making a trip to Zion, I suggest you plan to land early enough to move your plane to SGU in case transient is full. Wish this airport would add more transient spots.

Good facility. Transient parking was tight but north of the self service fuel there was a tie down spot facing west. I rented a car from Small Town Motors (as previously mentioned). They provided pickup and return. Solid operation--suggested Noise abatement prefers Rwy 19 use with straight out climb to pattern altitude before turning. Mike
