Brownwood Regional (KBWD)

Arrived 5 days ago, then weather rolled in, so I had to leave my plane on the ramp for 3 days and drive home. They moved it into the community hangar without me even asking. Really nice of them. Great pilot's lounge and staff.

Good place to stop over. Personnel was awesome, fine fuel costs and more than willing to accommodate. Big shout out to Carla and Kyle both for being good to deal with from the start. Will definitely return.

Affordable fuel and good service. Strongly suggest stopping for lunch or simply to fill up.

I challenge you to find a quicker 100LL pump in Texas. WOW!

Made my first flight into Brownwood today. After landing, I taxied over to the FBO ramp, where there was no marshal, so I parked and chocked the airplane myself. I requested full service for fuel and took on 60 gallons of AvGas. They added a 3.5% credit card surcharge. The CSRs inside were friendly and attentive.

Flew in recently to attend a funeral with the spouse. Superb service, crew car ready, simple in, simple out. Wonderful staff! I will return.

100LL pump is surprisingly quick - be prepared for it! No tenths on the meter, just gallons. Fantastic stop, superb airport, covered hail / shade parking if you require it and plenty of ramp area. Affordable fuel and terrific personnel also. Kindly do not alter this treasure of a GA airport!

Took my 91 year old grandfather to BWD this morning for lunch. What a good experience. Carla was wonderful to work with. She had everything ready with the courtesy car and was very welcoming. Fine FBO and good runway surface. Simple in and out. Can’t wait to visit again.

Folks here are awesome and very nice airport. If staying overnight, call ahead and pay the 15 bucks a night for the covered t-parking. Well worth it in the summer sun.
