Waco kitchen closed - out of business, Good FBO and fuel costs

Repeat customer. Enjoy meals at the Wako kitchen. Line service is good. They towed my airplane to the fuel pumps and even assisted with self serve fuel. All around friendly service. No ramp fees. Look forward to my next stop.

Stopped in for lunch at Waco Kitchen. This is the finest on-field restaurant there is. Highly suggested! The ramp staff met us as we arrived and marshalled us in. They were very helpful and towed our plane to the hangar to fill a low tire with air. No landing fees. Superb FBO, we will return!!

After flying in for business, I have flown back (twice) for enjoyment. Based in the Chicago area, I am always in search of a welcoming, simple to reach airport with an on-field restaurant. Battle Creek Executive Airport, Centennial Flight Services, and Waco Kitchen have jumped to the top of my Fly-To list! The airport controllers and FBO staff are superb, Centennial’s location on the field is perfect for simple in and out, minimal taxi time, and optional intersection departures. The Waco Kitchen has superb food that is fairly priced, fresh, and a menu that updates with the seasons. The bi-plane burger is a must, bring a friend so you can also have the Waco Tacos! Be sure to peak inside the Waco Airplane hangar on your way upstairs to the restaurants.

No longer an FBO! Tough to reach anyone by phone. Requested 2 rental cars 6 weeks ahead. 1 car delivered to incorrect spot but no second car. No line service. If you cannot speak to anyone do not stop in. Really fine looking facility. Just verify you will have service once you show up.

Good place to do customs! Flew back in from Canada and stopped here. The FBO was good, the restaurant was good, and the customs guys were extremely nice. WOULD RECCOMEND

Amazing FBO, they are always extremely cordial, no ramp fees good fuel costs and you cannot surpass Waco kitchen for a meal. Certainly add this to your travel schedule!

A good stop! The food is fine and they just changed up the menu. They have a weekend help sheet posted on the front door full of info as the FBO isn’t maned on the weekends. They have tie downs and chocks in a box outside. They charge $10 a night for ramp parking and have a crew car available. Amazing food and good service.

Stop by to dine at the cafeteria. Fine food and only 100 yards from the parking ramp.
