Friendly FBO carrying on the tradition of Lil !

Good FBO. Updated building with rooms available! Fine crew car and well kept facility. If you are looking for gas on the way to Sun-N-Fun they are advertising free BBQ sandwiches that week b/w 10 and 6pm!!

Stopped in here late one evening for fuel (inexpensive fuel) discovered the “FBO” was open late. Their CFI resided onsite. Good fellow. Discovered they had a room with 2 beds and a bathroom for only $30(Cash or check only) so I chose to rest for the evening. Crew Van available for use was very handy! This FBO is what General Aviation is all about. I wish there were more locations like this. Sadly many places want $7/Gal or 25$ landing fees just to use the restroom nowadays. I will certainly be returning, ideal stop for me coming in/out of Florida.

What a superb discovery! There is a 24h access unmanned FBO with everything at your command. Made a fuel stop on our route to Spartanburg from Miami.

Phenomenal service. Called after hours, Van promptly returned my call and was extremely helpful to ensure that I have everything I require. Nice, clean facility. A must visit!

This location is a hidden treasure. Affordable fuel and the FBO structure has completely stocked sleeping quarters accessible for overnight visits. Will surely recall this spot if we ever become grounded due to weather.

5 stars!!! First time stopping here. We were treated as if we were in a Gulfstream, even though we flew a C182. We seen the free BBQ advertised for Sun 'n Fun. We liked this place so much we had to stop on the way home too. Airport manager is very friendly and helped us fuel up the plane. Thanks for the hospitality! Beautiful FBO building. Wonderful little FBO. Rooms upstairs and very cozy lodging. Rental van was parked under a pergalow, shading it and keeping it from getting stuffy. Also, it had A/C! The small details! We also found a very fine BBQ about 5 miles away called K&L BBQ. Best BBQ I have had anywhere in the United States! It’s a little hole-in-the wall place but super good food and friendly folks. Overall good airport stop, I will be stopping here again in the future.

This facility ought to be a template for FBO’s everywhere, and brings credit to what general aviation’s capability can be. Spotless, well maintained, amazing “lodge” (I hesitate to call it an FBO) appears like someone’s nicely furnished residence. This spot is on my stop over list whenever I’m coming or leaving from Florida! Fuel costs are quite competitive too! There’s a small coffee shop “the Common Ground” a few miles down the route in Baxter too!
