Customs and fuel today was quick and easy. FBO provided fine service since customs is remote to the FBO.

The ramp to the far left when facing the FBO has tied ropes available. It is a bit of a walk, but worth the peace of mind if you are staying overnight. No golf carts or line assistance was offered, so I dropped my passenger and luggage off on the main ramp in front of the structure first and then taxied to rope parking.

Landed here 10 pm in a Bonanza. No other planes and no other people in FBO. Two linemen inside on their iPhones, three staff sitting around chatting. No marshalling, no assistance with bags etc, and mostly indifferent. I'm not sure why the staff are present. But at least the lights were on so we could get a shuttle to a hotel.

Surprising poor line service. No marshal for parking, had to retrieve my own chocks from the gas truck, go inside and there are 4 ppl in line crew vests sitting around chatting in the back office. I asked the desk clerk if there was a meeting in progress and he says no. What gives BA? Does the monopoly really have you that fat and content?

Customs now situated on the ramp close to the main terminal. Quite inconvenient for the FBO, as it is a considerable distance apart. No obvious reason why this is the situation. They arrive to meet you from the FBO in a van and deliver fuel to the plane. But you will need to be towed if you wish to park for the evening.

Holiday Inn close by has free shuttle, superb pilot rates, eatery/bar and pool. A fine worth for transient GA.

Ok. They are very friendly and helpful. Drive me to terminal to get a rental car. I dont mind getting my own chocks since they were busy.

So I flew here after reading all the prior comments. I can confirm now that twice I called the FBO when I was 30-40nm out and they responded both times. I informed them I would require fuel and then be leaving. On arrival, the fuel truck arrived as soon as the engine ceased and started fueling. The line crew member both occasions were fine. Fuel stop for a PA-28 was in and out in under 30 minutes, truly under a self serve fuel and restroom stop at an untowered facility! I will return!

Agree with comment by Ken S. that staff is “indifferent and unhelpful”. They cannot be bothered with general aviation.
