I've been here a few times over the past couple years in various single engine piston planes. Gas is always inexpensive, and they always provide cordial service. Since it was an old army airfield they have some neat WWII yearbooks from the base. P.S. if there's any Auburn students reading this in the future on your instrument XC's, have fun, and WDE!

Good FBO and helpful personnel. Had to divert in for weather; courtesy car was available and the staff recommended a fine barbecue place (J3 BBQ) about 15 minutes away. I would certainly come back!

Landed for fuel and to take a little rest after a three hour leg. Tommy and Morris were very helpful and gracious. Tommy took the time to tell me a little history about this previously military airfield. That explained the huge ramp. He offered a courtesy car to go get a meal but I was eager to keep going. Landed on 32 and it is a little rough but scheduled for improvement in the near future as is the ramp area. There is also a self serve fueling area currently being installed. Also, spoke on the phone with Tony the day before to see about transportation for an overnight stay. He was very helpful. I will be stopping here in the future.

What a good experience here last night! Headed to SnF but needed to land for the night due to weather. Called ahead spoke to Tommy, he pulled out cc for us, we landed late. Fueled us w fuel truck for ss price in am. What a good guy and airport team here! We will be back.

Flew in just ahead of a line of violent thunderstorms. Line personnel marshaled us in, then offered hangar space as hail was predicted. With torrential rains coming down, we had no choice but to stay the night. We were given a crew car and guidance on local accommodations. The airport crew turned a flight delay into a good experience. Can’t thank everyone enough for their hospitality and kindness

Flew an approach into KBGE to refuel. The host was out immediately to usher me in. Modern, comfortable FBO. The host was very accommodating and helpful. Definitely will return. Highly recommended as a fuel stop!
