Amazing FBO. Superb staff of welcoming faces, fine snack selection with a nifty espresso machine. Best of all, they make fresh chocolate chip cookies that fill the sparkling clean lobby with such a pleasant aroma. Comfy recliners in the pilots lounge. No superior place to pass some time!

Professional and personal experience during our quick-turn today! Line service was prompt. Chitwan and Megan were awesome to interact with and helped correct an invoice so we were not overcharged. We will definitely return to Modern next time we're at BFI!

Can't say good enough things about Modern. Flew in from Canada and the service was amazing. I came in a cirrus and the personnel was very friendly and welcoming. I will surely be back!

Part 2 from a comment on Signature: I had a good experience here following a terrible one with Signature. Already had bought fuel at Signature, to be told that they do not give the crew car to anyone under 21, despite this not being the case the prior week. No such policy at Modern, and it was overall a much more pleasant and enjoyable FBO to visit, with much more welcoming staff (even in a 172). I highly recommend Modern for anyone visiting the Seattle area. I shall return!

Still my preferred FBO on the field. Good safe line personnel. Fine service. Made my reservation online this time and checked hangar box due to anticipated hot days. $300 for 1 night in the hangar for an SR22T. Yikes. Was quite surprised.

Some info from Modern Aviation on their fee's Good evening, 10 gal to waive the $50 ramp charge. It's $40.00 if the plane stay's overnight also hanger charge is $300.00 per night. There is a non-waivable infrastructure charge that is 35.00. We do not have tie downs at our facility. Kind regards, Nikki

This venue was good, now it is just average. Their charges are out of control. Cirrus overnight tie downs with no services was $125. Unrelated to Modern, I find the controllers at BFI to be condescending and rude. Not a GA friendly spot it used to be.

Had a very poor encounter at Modern today. Arrived mid-day in our Praetor with a planned stop of 90 minutes and required fuel during our turn. Upon arrival I confirmed with ramp team and front desk our fuel order and timing. When we returned, we hadn’t been fueled. Fuel trucks were sitting around. Ramp staff standing around conversing. It took us getting borderline upset to get anyone to move. No one at Modern - not ramp nor front desk - appears to care at all about customer service.

Good customs area for returning back from Canada with a Citation Mustang. Uneventful FBO. CAA fuel rates. 1 gal of fuel waives the ramp charge. Overnight fee was $50. Major frustration: They wanted to charge me $150 for simply towing me from customs to the FBO. That is really poor service, it would not have cost them anything, but it costed me a full startup cycle on the engines.

Awesome FBO! Good people and superb service! I brought my SR22T in and asked for O2 TKS and AVGAS and all done fast without any problems. Wonderful line people and reception. Would return soon!
